Strawberry Peak

Famous “Six-Pack of Peaks”

Strawberry Peak is one of Southern California’s famous “Six-Pack of Peaks”, and it’s definitely the berry that stands out. Nestled in the San Gabriel Mountains just north of Pasadena, this peak is instantly recognizable by its shape, an upside-down strawberry! But don’t let the sweet name fool you.

With jagged granite ridges, rocky scrambles, and jaw-dropping summit views, Strawberry Peak packs a punch. It’s a favorite among our OTW members who love a challenging climb. This classic San Gabriel adventure is challenging enough to earn every breathtaking view, yet totally doable in a day.
