Mount Baldy

Tallest Peak In The San Gabriel Mountains

It’s an iconic Southern California hike that challenges your legs, rewards your eyes, and gives you one of the most breathtaking summit views in the region.

At the 10,064-foot summit, the views stretch in all directions: the Los Angeles basin to the south, the Mojave Desert to the northeast, and the snow-capped San Bernardino Mountains in winter. On clear days, you can even see Mount San Gorgonio, Southern California’s tallest peak.
